204 (North Irish) Field Hospital
204 (North Irish) Field Hospital is a field hospital unit of the British Army's Royal Army Medical Corps. It is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and is part of the Army Reserve.

The 204 (North Irish) Field Hospital was established in 1967 as part of the Territorial Army. It was initially known as 204 (Ulster) General Hospital. The unit was renamed to its current name in 1995.
Role and Operations[edit | edit source]
The primary role of the 204 (North Irish) Field Hospital is to provide medical support to the British Army during operations. The unit is staffed by a combination of regular and reserve personnel, including doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals. The hospital has been deployed on several operations, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Bosnian War, and in Iraq and Afghanistan during the War on Terror.
Training[edit | edit source]
Members of the 204 (North Irish) Field Hospital undergo regular training to maintain their medical skills and military competencies. This includes both clinical training and military exercises. The unit also works closely with the NHS and other healthcare providers to ensure its members are up-to-date with the latest medical practices.
