ASK Italian was founded in 1993 by brothers Adam and Sam Kaye. The name "ASK" is an acronym for "Adam and Sam Kaye." The first restaurant opened in London, and the chain quickly expanded across the UK. In 2004, the Kaye brothers sold the business to the Gondola Group, which later became part of the Azzurri Group.
