A Spot of Bother is a 2010 comedy-drama film directed by Saul Metzstein. The film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Mark Haddon. It stars George MacKay, Hayley Atwell, and Hugh Bonneville.

The story revolves around George Hall, a man in his late fifties who is dealing with a series of personal crises. George discovers a lesion on his hip and becomes convinced that he has terminal cancer. As he spirals into hypochondria, his family members are also facing their own challenges. His daughter Katie is preparing for her second marriage, his son Jamie is struggling with his sexuality, and his wife Jean is having an affair.
