Products[edit | edit source]

Adolor's flagship product is ENTEREG, a drug approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the management of postoperative ileus. ENTEREG works by blocking the effects of opioid medications in the gut, thereby reducing the incidence of postoperative ileus, a condition characterized by a temporary impairment of the bowel's ability to contract and move stool or gas out of the body.
