AirPods Pro

From WikiMD's Wellness Encyclopedia

AirPods Pro are wireless Bluetooth earbuds created by Apple Inc., first released on October 30, 2019. They are the higher-end version of Apple's original AirPods.

Design[edit | edit source]

The AirPods Pro design differs significantly from its predecessor, the AirPods. They are smaller and have a new in-ear design with three sizes of soft, flexible silicone tips for a customizable fit. The AirPods Pro also includes a vent system for pressure equalization and an internal microphone that helps in reducing external sound.

Features[edit | edit source]

AirPods Pro have several features that set them apart from Apple's previous models. These include Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, and Adaptive EQ.

Active Noise Cancellation[edit | edit source]

Active Noise Cancellation is a feature that uses two microphones combined with advanced software to continuously adapt to each individual ear and headphone fit. This removes background noise to provide a uniquely customized, superior noise-canceling experience.

Transparency Mode[edit | edit source]

Transparency mode is a feature that provides users with the option to simultaneously listen to music while still hearing the environment around them. This is achieved by using the pressure-equalizing vent system and advanced software to leave just the right amount of noise cancellation active.

Adaptive EQ[edit | edit source]

Adaptive EQ is a feature that automatically tunes the low- and mid-frequencies of the music to the shape of an individual's ear, resulting in a rich, immersive listening experience.

Compatibility[edit | edit source]

AirPods Pro are compatible with devices that support Bluetooth 5.0 or higher, including iOS devices, Apple Watch, and Macs with the latest software. They also support Audio Sharing with other AirPods (2nd generation or later) and AirPods Pro.

Reception[edit | edit source]

The AirPods Pro have been generally well received by critics and consumers alike. They have been praised for their sound quality, noise cancellation capabilities, and improved design over the original AirPods.
