Ami Bera
Ami Bera (born March 2, 1965) is an American physician and politician who has served as the U.S. Representative for California's 7th congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, Bera's district is located in the eastern suburbs of Sacramento, including cities such as Elk Grove, Folsom, and Rancho Cordova.

Ami Bera was born in Los Angeles, California, to Indian immigrant parents. He grew up in Southern California and attended public schools.
