Amy Schumer
Amy Beth Schumer (born June 1, 1981) is an American stand-up comedian, actress, writer, and producer. She is known for her sharp wit, observational humor, and her ability to tackle complex social issues through comedy. Schumer gained widespread recognition with her television series Inside Amy Schumer and her work in film and stand-up comedy.

Amy Schumer was born in Manhattan, New York City, to Sandra and Gordon Schumer. She grew up in a wealthy family, but her family's financial situation changed when her father declared bankruptcy. Schumer attended South Side High School in Rockville Centre, New York, and later graduated from Towson University with a degree in theater.

Schumer began her career in stand-up comedy in the early 2000s. She gained attention after appearing on the fifth season of the reality competition series Last Comic Standing in 2007, where she placed fourth.
