Andrew Puzder (born July 11, 1950) is an American businessman and attorney. He is best known for his role as the former CEO of CKE Restaurants, the parent company of fast-food chains such as Hardee's and Carl's Jr.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Puzder was born on July 11, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in a working-class family and attended local public schools. Puzder later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Cleveland State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Washington University School of Law.
Career[edit | edit source]
After completing his education, Puzder began his career as an attorney, specializing in labor and employment law. He worked at various law firms before joining CKE Restaurants in 1997.
At CKE Restaurants, Puzder played a significant role in the company's growth and success. Under his leadership, the company expanded its presence both domestically and internationally. Puzder implemented innovative marketing strategies and menu changes to attract a wider customer base.
