Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu
Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu is a Japanese anime series that combines elements of the magical girl genre with detective fiction and animal transformation themes. The series was produced by HAL Film Maker and directed by Soichi Masui, with original character designs by Haruka Komowata. It originally aired in Japan from October 2009 to September 2010, spanning a total of 50 episodes.
Plot[edit | edit source]
The story revolves around the three sisters, Riko, Rimu, and Nagi, who live in a small town. Their lives take a magical turn when they discover a set of mysterious pendants in their grandfather's attic. These pendants grant them the ability to transform into "Kirumin," which are essentially animal costumes with special abilities. Using these powers, the sisters start a detective agency to solve various mysteries and cases involving animals, while also searching for a way to return to their normal lives. As they delve deeper into their adventures, they uncover the truth about their pendants and face off against various challenges, including a rival detective agency.

- Nagi - The youngest sister, who is cheerful and a bit of a klutz. She transforms into a goldfish.
- Other characters include Ken, their childhood friend and a member of the rival detective agency, and various animals they befriend and help throughout the series.
Themes and Reception[edit | edit source]
Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu explores themes of family, friendship, and the bond between humans and animals. Its unique blend of detective work and magical transformations, along with its light-hearted tone, made it appealing to a younger audience. The series received positive reviews for its animation quality, character development, and the creative use of its transformation gimmick. However, it remains a niche title outside of Japan due to limited international exposure.

The series spawned a range of merchandise, including toys, games, and books, primarily targeted at children. Although it did not receive an English dub, it has been fansubbed, allowing a wider audience to enjoy the show.
