Apostolos Kaklamanis
Apostolos Kaklamanis (Greek: Απόστολος Κακλαμάνης) is a prominent Greek politician who has played a significant role in the political landscape of Greece. He was born on September 7, 1936, in Lefkada, Greece.

Apostolos Kaklamanis was born and raised in Lefkada. He pursued higher education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he studied law. After completing his studies, he became actively involved in politics.

Kaklamanis began his political career as a member of the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK), a major political party in Greece. He was first elected to the Hellenic Parliament in 1974, representing the Athens B constituency. Over the years, he has held various significant positions within the government.

Throughout his career, Kaklamanis has served in several ministerial roles. Notably, he was the Minister for National Education and Religious Affairs from 1981 to 1984. He also served as the Minister for Health and Social Solidarity from 1984 to 1987.

One of the most notable positions held by Kaklamanis was that of the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament. He served as Speaker from 1993 to 2004, making him one of the longest-serving speakers in the history of the Greek Parliament.
