Archimède

Archimède is a French rock band formed in 2004. The band consists of brothers Nicolas and Frédéric Boisnard, who are the main songwriters and vocalists. The band's music is characterized by its blend of pop and rock influences with a distinct French touch.

Archimède was formed in 2004 in Laval, Mayenne, France. The band is named after the ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes, reflecting the brothers' interest in history and culture. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2009 and was well received in France, earning them a nomination for the Victoires de la Musique in the category of 'Group or Artist Stage Revelation of the Year'.

Archimède's music is a blend of pop and rock, with lyrics often infused with a sense of humor and irony. The band cites influences from British rock bands such as The Beatles and The Kinks, as well as French chanson artists like Jacques Brel and Georges Brassens.
