Autism-Europe is an international association that aims to advance the rights of people with autism and their families. It advocates for their needs and interests through the European Union. Autism-Europe plays a key role in raising public awareness and influencing European decision-makers on all issues related to the rights of people with autism.

Autism-Europe was established in 1983 by parents of children with autism. It was initially a small group of parents and professionals from Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom. The association has grown over the years and now includes more than 80 member associations from over 30 European countries.

The main objectives of Autism-Europe are to ensure a high quality of life for people with autism and their families, to improve their inclusion in society, and to promote research into the causes and solutions for autism.

Autism-Europe carries out a wide range of activities, including lobbying European institutions, disseminating information and good practices, organizing conferences and training sessions, and conducting research.
