BBC Three is a British free-to-air television channel operated by the BBC. It was originally launched on 9 February 2003 as a replacement for BBC Choice. In 2016, BBC Three became an online-only service as part of a cost-saving measure by the BBC. However, in 2022, BBC Three returned to linear television broadcasting, while maintaining its online presence.
