BSPP
BSPP or the British Society for Plant Pathology is a professional society for plant pathologists and those with an interest in plant pathology. Plant pathology, also known as phytopathology, is the scientific study of diseases in plants caused by pathogens and environmental conditions.

The British Society for Plant Pathology was founded in 1981. It was established to advance the education of the public in the science of plant pathology. The society is a registered charity in the UK.

The BSPP supports the professional interests of plant pathologists worldwide. It organizes scientific meetings, publishes journals, provides grants and awards, and promotes the importance of plant pathology to policy makers and the general public.
