Barilla Group is an Italian multinational food company. It is the world's largest pasta producer. The company was founded in 1877 as a bakery shop in Parma, Italy by Pietro Barilla. The Barilla Group controls Barilla (multinational pasta maker), Mulino Bianco, Pavesi, Voiello, Alixir and Academia Barilla (Italy), Wasa (Sweden), Harry's (France), and Misko (Greece), Filiz (Turkey), Yemina and Vesta (Mexico) trademarks.

The company was founded by Pietro Barilla in 1877 as a small pasta and bread shop in Parma. In 1952, the company launched a new type of pasta, made with a blend of selected wheats and a long kneading process. This innovation led to a significant increase in sales, and by the 1960s, Barilla had become a large, modern corporation.

Barilla Group's product range includes pasta, sauces, bakery products, and crispbreads. The company's pasta is sold in numerous restaurants worldwide, and it is also a leader in the ready-to-use sauces market in continental Europe. Barilla Group's bakery products, sold under the brands Mulino Bianco, Pavesi, and Harry's, are among the most popular in Italy and France.
