- Barton Creek is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Travis County, Texas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the CDP population was 3,077. Barton Creek is a part of the Austin-Round Rock-San Marcos Metropolitan Statistical Area.

- Barton Creek is located at 30°16′39″N 97°51′37″W (30.277379, -97.860350), 8 miles (13 km) west of downtown Austin. The CDP has a total area of 5.4 square miles (14 km2), all of it land.
