Ben Coker
Ben Coker (born 17 June 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Stevenage F.C. in EFL League Two. He is known for his versatility, being able to play both as a left-back and a left midfielder.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Coker was born in Cambridge, England. He attended local schools and showed an early interest in football, joining the youth academy at Cambridge United F.C..
Club Career[edit | edit source]
Cambridge United[edit | edit source]
Coker began his professional career at Cambridge United F.C., where he progressed through the youth ranks. He made his first-team debut in 2008.
Bury Town[edit | edit source]
In 2009, Coker signed with Bury Town F.C., where he made a significant impact and helped the team achieve promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division.
Colchester United[edit | edit source]
Coker's performances at Bury Town earned him a move to Colchester United F.C. in 2010. He made his debut for the club in a Football League Trophy match against Wycombe Wanderers F.C..
Southend United[edit | edit source]
In 2013, Coker joined Southend United F.C., where he became a key player. He was part of the team that won promotion to EFL League One via the play-offs in the 2014-2015 season.
Lincoln City[edit | edit source]
Coker signed with Lincoln City F.C. in 2019. During his time at the club, he contributed to their successful campaigns in EFL League One.
Stevenage[edit | edit source]
In 2021, Coker moved to Stevenage F.C., where he continues to play as of the latest season.
Playing Style[edit | edit source]
Coker is known for his defensive capabilities, as well as his ability to support the attack. His versatility allows him to play in multiple positions on the left side of the pitch.

Coker is married and has two children. He is actively involved in community service and youth football coaching.
