Ben Howlett
Ben Howlett is a British politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bath from 2015 to 2017. He is a member of the Conservative Party.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Ben Howlett was born on 21 August 1986. He attended the University of Exeter, where he studied Politics and gained a Bachelor's degree. During his time at university, he was actively involved in student politics and served as the President of the University of Exeter Students' Guild.

Early Involvement[edit | edit source]
Howlett's political career began with his involvement in the Conservative Party at a young age. He held various positions within the party, including serving as the Chairman of Conservative Future, the youth wing of the party.
Member of Parliament for Bath[edit | edit source]
In the 2015 general election, Howlett was elected as the MP for Bath, succeeding Don Foster of the Liberal Democrats. During his tenure, Howlett focused on issues such as healthcare, education, and transportation.
Parliamentary Work[edit | edit source]
As an MP, Howlett served on several parliamentary committees and was an active participant in debates. He was particularly known for his work on the Health Select Committee, where he advocated for improvements in the NHS and mental health services.
2017 General Election[edit | edit source]
In the 2017 general election, Howlett lost his seat to Wera Hobhouse of the Liberal Democrats. After his defeat, he continued to be involved in politics and public service.
