Ben Weinman
Ben Weinman (born August 8, 1975) is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist and primary songwriter of the band The Dillinger Escape Plan. He is recognized for his innovative guitar techniques and contributions to the genre of mathcore.

Ben Weinman was born in Morris Plains, New Jersey. He developed an interest in music at a young age and began playing the guitar during his teenage years. Weinman attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he studied psychology.

The Dillinger Escape Plan[edit | edit source]
In 1997, Weinman co-founded The Dillinger Escape Plan with bassist Adam Doll, drummer Chris Pennie, and vocalist Dimitri Minakakis. The band quickly gained a reputation for their complex and aggressive style, blending elements of hardcore punk, metal, and progressive rock. Weinman's guitar work, characterized by rapid time signature changes and intricate riffs, became a defining feature of the band's sound.
