Bienville Parish is a parish located in the northern part of the U.S. state of Louisiana. As of the 2020 census, the population was 12,581. The parish seat is Arcadia. The parish was formed in 1848 from parts of Claiborne Parish and Jackson Parish.

Bienville Parish was named in honor of Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne, Sieur de Bienville, a French colonial governor of Louisiana. The area has a rich history, including its role in the American Civil War and its development during the Reconstruction era.

Bienville Parish covers a total area of 822 square miles, of which 811 square miles is land and 11 square miles is water. The parish is part of the Ark-La-Tex region, which includes parts of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.
