Bisleri is an Indian brand of bottled water owned by Parle Bisleri. The company was originally created by an Italian entrepreneur, Felice Bisleri, who first brought the idea of selling bottled water in India. Bisleri conducts its major businesses in India, with 135 operational plants and a network of 3,000 distributors & 5,000 distribution trucks. The brand is known for its Reverse Osmosis treated water.

Felice Bisleri, an Italian entrepreneur, launched Bisleri in India in 1965. The brand was later bought by Parle, a leading company in the Indian beverage industry. Parle used its already established distribution network to make Bisleri a leading bottled water brand in the country.

Bisleri offers a range of products, including Bisleri with added minerals, Bisleri Mountain Water, Bisleri Soda, and Vedica. Each product is designed to cater to different consumer needs. The company also introduced a 20-litre bulk pack called Bisleri Water Dispenser for offices and homes.

Manufacturing Process[edit | edit source]

Bisleri follows a 10-step stringent purification process. The process includes steps like Sand Filtration, Activated Carbon Filtration, Micron Filtration, Reverse Osmosis, Ultraviolet Treatment, and Ozonation. This ensures that the water is free from harmful bacteria and viruses and is completely safe for consumption.

Bisleri has initiated several environmental campaigns to promote recycling and reduce plastic waste. The company has launched the 'Bottles for Change' initiative, which aims to educate people about the importance of recycling plastic.
