Publication History[edit | edit source]

Fictional Character Biography[edit | edit source]
Black Dwarf is a member of the Black Order, a group of lethal lieutenants serving Thanos. His physical prowess and immense strength make him a formidable opponent. In the Infinity storyline, he is sent to Wakanda, the home of the Black Panther, to retrieve an Infinity Gem. However, he is repelled by the Wakandan forces, leading to his disgrace among the Black Order. Despite this setback, Black Dwarf continues to serve Thanos in his quest to obtain the Infinity Gems.
Powers and Abilities[edit | edit source]
Black Dwarf possesses superhuman strength, durability, and endurance. His skin is nearly impervious to harm, allowing him to withstand high-caliber bullets, energy blasts, and severe physical trauma without injury. Additionally, he is an accomplished hand-to-hand combatant, capable of using his strength to overpower most opponents.
In Other Media[edit | edit source]
While Black Dwarf has not appeared extensively outside of comic books, he was featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Avengers: Infinity War, albeit under the name Cull Obsidian. In the film, he is portrayed as a member of the Black Order, participating in the attack on New York and the battle in Wakanda.
