- Blackhawk is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Meade County, South Dakota, United States. The city is part of the Rapid City Metropolitan Statistical Area.

- Blackhawk is located at 44°10′12″N 103°15′9″W (44.170000, -103.252500). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.0 square miles (5.2 km²), all land.

- As of the census of 2000, there were 2,892 people, 1,053 households, and 791 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,444.6 people per square mile (557.6/km²).
