- Blennerhassett is a small census-designated place (CDP) located in Wood County, West Virginia, United States. It is part of the Parkersburg-Marietta-Vienna, WV-OH Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city is named after Harman Blennerhassett, an Irish aristocrat who settled on the island in the Ohio River that also bears his name.
