Bloomfield Township is a charter township located in Oakland County, Michigan, United States. As of the 2020 census, the township had a population of 44,253. It is one of the most affluent communities in the state of Michigan.

Bloomfield Township was established in 1827, making it one of the oldest townships in Michigan. The area was originally inhabited by the Potawatomi people before European settlers arrived. The township has grown significantly over the years, transitioning from a rural community to a suburban area.
