Types of Blowers[edit | edit source]

An axial blower moves air or gas parallel to the axis of rotation. It uses a propeller to draw air into the blower and discharge it in the same axial direction.

Positive Displacement Blower[edit | edit source]

A positive displacement blower traps a specific volume of air and then displaces it to the discharge pipe. This type of blower is often used in applications requiring a constant flow rate.
