Bobby Brooks (baseball)
Bobby Brooks (born June 24, 1945) is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) outfielder who played for the Oakland Athletics and the California Angels during the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Bobby Brooks was born in Long Beach, California. He attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School where he excelled in baseball, leading to his recruitment by professional teams.

Oakland Athletics[edit | edit source]
Brooks made his MLB debut with the Oakland Athletics on September 9, 1969. During his time with the Athletics, he played primarily as an outfielder. His tenure with the team was marked by his strong defensive skills and his ability to contribute as a reliable bench player.
California Angels[edit | edit source]
In 1970, Brooks was traded to the California Angels. He continued to play as an outfielder, providing depth to the Angels' roster. His career with the Angels was brief, and he played his final MLB game on September 30, 1970.
