Bowling Green is a term used in the sport of lawn bowls, referring to the playing surface where the game is conducted. The term is also used to name various cities and towns, most notably Bowling Green, Kentucky and Bowling Green, Ohio in the United States.

In the sport of lawn bowls, a bowling green is a finely manicured grass or synthetic surface on which the game is played. The green is divided into rinks for individual games. The surface is maintained to be extremely flat and even, to allow the biased bowls to travel in a predictable curve.
