- Bridgeport is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located approximately 18 miles north of Philadelphia on the Schuylkill River. The borough is primarily residential with a significant commercial sector in the downtown area.

- Bridgeport was originally known as Bridgeport Village during the early years of its existence. It was incorporated as a borough in 1851 and has a rich history that dates back to the early 18th century.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Bridgeport is located at 40°6′30″N 75°20′46″W. The borough has a total area of 0.8 square miles, all of it land.
Demographics[edit | edit source]
- As of the 2010 census, the borough was 79.8% White, 7.9% Black or African American, 0.2% Native American, 2.8% Asian, and 2.8% were two or more races. 11.4% of the population were of Hispanic or Latino ancestry.
