Marcus Junius Brutus[edit | edit source]

Marcus Junius Brutus (85 BC – 42 BC) was a Roman senator and one of the leading conspirators in the assassination of Julius Caesar. He was a close friend of Caesar but joined the conspiracy led by Gaius Cassius Longinus due to his belief in the Roman Republic and opposition to Caesar's dictatorship. The assassination took place on the Ides of March (March 15) in 44 BC. After Caesar's death, Brutus fled Rome and eventually committed suicide following his defeat at the Battle of Philippi.

Lucius Junius Brutus was a legendary figure in Roman history, credited with founding the Roman Republic and serving as one of its first consuls in 509 BC. He led the revolt against the last Roman king, Lucius Tarquinius Superbus, and played a crucial role in establishing the new republican form of government.

Decimus Junius Brutus Albinus[edit | edit source]

Decimus Junius Brutus Albinus (85 BC – 43 BC) was another Roman politician and general who was involved in the assassination of Julius Caesar. Although not as well-known as Marcus Junius Brutus, Decimus was a key conspirator and played a significant role in the events leading up to and following Caesar's death.
