Bryan Bronson

Bryan Bronson (born September 9, 1972) is a retired American track and field athlete who specialized in the 400 meters hurdles. He is best known for his performance in the late 1990s, particularly his bronze medal at the 1997 World Championships in Athletics.

Bryan Bronson was born in Jasper, Texas. He attended Jasper High School (Texas), where he first showed promise as a hurdler. After high school, he went on to attend Rice University in Houston, Texas, where he competed for the Rice Owls track and field team.

Bronson's breakthrough came in 1997 when he won the bronze medal in the 400 meters hurdles at the 1997 World Championships in Athletics held in Athens, Greece. His personal best in the event is 47.03 seconds, which he achieved in 1998. This time ranks him among the fastest 400 meters hurdlers in history.
