Burger Time is a classic arcade game developed by Data East in 1982. The game was originally released as an arcade game and has since been ported to various home consoles and computer systems.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

In Burger Time, the player controls a chef named Peter Pepper who must walk over hamburger ingredients located across a multi-level maze of platforms and ladders. The objective is to complete burgers by walking over the ingredients, causing them to fall to the lower levels until they stack up to form a complete burger at the bottom of the screen. The player must avoid enemies such as Mr. Hot Dog, Mr. Pickle, and Mr. Egg, who chase Peter Pepper around the maze. The player can temporarily stun enemies by using a limited supply of pepper shots.

Development and Release[edit | edit source]

Burger Time was developed by Data East and released in 1982. It became one of the company's most successful arcade games and was later ported to various home systems, including the Nintendo Entertainment System, Atari 2600, and Intellivision. The game has also been included in several compilations of classic arcade games.
