- Burnham is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The village is located in the northeastern part of the state, adjacent to the city of Chicago. Burnham was incorporated in 1907 and as of the 2010 census, it had a population of 4,206.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Burnham is located at 41°38′35″N 87°32′45″W. According to the 2010 census, Burnham has a total area of 2.092 square miles, of which 1.97 square miles (or 94.17%) is land and 0.122 square miles (or 5.83%) is water.
Demographics[edit | edit source]
- As of the census of 2010, there were 4,206 people, 1,683 households, and 1,120 families residing in the village. The population density was 2,135.5 people per square mile. The racial makeup of the village was 52.7% White, 36.2% African American, 0.5% Native American, 0.9% Asian, 7.1% from other races, and 2.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 23.8% of the population.
