History[edit | edit source]

Busted was formed in 2000 when James Bourne and Matt Willis met through mutual friends and decided to start a band. They later recruited Charlie Simpson to complete the lineup. The band quickly gained popularity with their debut single, "What I Go to School For," which was released in 2002 and reached number three on the UK Singles Chart.
