C-Murder
C-Murder (born Corey Miller on March 9, 1971) is an American rapper, songwriter, and actor. He is known for his work in the hip-hop genre and his association with the record label No Limit Records. C-Murder is also recognized for his legal troubles, including a conviction for second-degree murder.
Early Life[edit | edit source]
Corey Miller was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up in the Calliope Projects. He is the brother of fellow rappers Master P and Silkk the Shocker. Miller developed an interest in music at a young age and began his career in the early 1990s.
Music Career[edit | edit source]
C-Murder started his music career as a member of the group TRU, which included his brothers Master P and Silkk the Shocker. The group gained popularity in the mid-1990s with their album True.
Solo Career[edit | edit source]
In 1998, C-Murder released his debut solo album, Life or Death, which was well-received and achieved platinum status. He followed up with several other albums, including Bossalinie (1999), Trapped in Crime (2000), and C-P-3.com (2001).

Legal Issues[edit | edit source]
C-Murder's career has been overshadowed by his legal issues. In 2002, he was arrested and charged with the murder of a 16-year-old fan, Steve Thomas, at a nightclub in Harvey, Louisiana. In 2003, he was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. His conviction has been the subject of numerous appeals and legal battles.
Personal Life[edit | edit source]
C-Murder has four children. Despite his incarceration, he has continued to release music and maintain a presence in the hip-hop community. He has also written a novel and expressed interest in various business ventures.
