COBIT
COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) is a framework created by ISACA for information technology (IT) management and IT governance. The framework is designed to help organizations develop, organize, and implement strategies around information management and governance.

COBIT was first released in 1996 and has since undergone several updates to address the evolving needs of IT governance and management. The most recent version, COBIT 2019, was released to provide more comprehensive and flexible guidance.

COBIT defines a set of governance and management objectives that are essential for the effective governance and management of enterprise IT. These objectives are categorized into five domains:
- Evaluate, Direct and Monitor (EDM)
- Align, Plan and Organize (APO)
- Build, Acquire and Implement (BAI)
- Deliver, Service and Support (DSS)
- Monitor, Evaluate and Assess (MEA)

COBIT includes a performance management system that helps organizations measure and manage the performance of their IT processes. This system uses maturity models, capability levels, and other metrics to assess performance.
