The Capsule of the Glenohumeral Joint is the articular capsule of the shoulder joint. It is a crucial component of the shoulder that completely surrounds the joint, providing stability and allowing for a wide range of motion.

The Capsule of the Glenohumeral Joint is attached above to the circumference of the glenoid cavity beyond the glenoidal labrum, and below to the anatomical neck of the humerus. It approaches nearer to the articular cartilage above than in the rest of its extent.
