Carlos Alberto Juárez (born March 30, 1975) is a former Argentine professional footballer who played as a striker. Throughout his career, Juárez played for several clubs in the Argentine Primera División, showcasing his skills primarily in the forward position.

Club career[edit | edit source]

Carlos Alberto Juárez began his professional career with Lanús in 1993, where he made a significant impact. Over seven years, he appeared in 153 league matches and scored 31 goals. His performance at Lanús earned him moves to other top-tier Argentine clubs.

In 2000, Juárez transferred to Gimnasia LP, where he continued to demonstrate his goal-scoring abilities. After two seasons with Gimnasia, he moved to Independiente, although his time there was less fruitful in terms of goals.

Subsequent years saw him playing for Banfield, Colón, and Talleres, before retiring from professional football in 2006. Throughout his career, Juárez was known for his strong physical presence and ability to hold up the ball, making him a valuable player for his teams.
