Cebu Doctors' University
Cebu Doctors' University (CDU) is a premier higher education institution located in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. It is renowned for its outstanding healthcare education and its commitment to producing competent health professionals. Established in 1975 as Cebu Doctors' College, the institution was granted university status in 2004, becoming the first medical university in the Philippines with a university status before the enactment of the Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997.

Cebu Doctors' University was originally founded as Cebu Doctors' College on August 17, 1975, by Dr. Potenciano V. Larrazabal, Jr., along with a group of prominent professionals and businessmen. The college initially offered courses in Nursing and Midwifery. Over the years, it expanded its program offerings to include Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and other health-related programs. In recognition of its significant contribution to healthcare education and its expansion, the school was converted into a university in 2004 and subsequently renamed Cebu Doctors' University.
