Cecil Purser
Cecil Purser (1862–1953) was an Australian physician and medical administrator who made significant contributions to the medical field in Australia. He was known for his work in medical education and hospital administration.

Cecil Purser was born in Sydney, New South Wales, in 1862. He attended Sydney Grammar School before enrolling at the University of Sydney, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1885.

After completing his medical degree, Purser worked at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) in Sydney. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a senior medical officer.
