Charles E. Cobb Jr. (born May 9, 1936) is an American businessman and former diplomat, known for his significant contributions to both the private sector and public service. He served as the Under Secretary of Commerce for Travel and Tourism during the administration of President George H. W. Bush.

Charles E. Cobb Jr. was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He attended Stanford University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Cobb later pursued graduate studies at the Harvard Business School, where he completed the Advanced Management Program.

Cobb began his career in the private sector, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become a prominent figure in the real estate and development industry.
