Chef (2014 film)
Chef is a 2014 American comedy-drama film directed by Jon Favreau, who also stars in the film. The film was produced by Sergey Selyanov, Jon Favreau, and Karen Gilchrist. The screenplay was written by Favreau and features an ensemble cast that includes Sofia Vergara, John Leguizamo, Scarlett Johansson, Oliver Platt, Bobby Cannavale, and Dustin Hoffman.

The film follows the journey of Carl Casper (Favreau), a professional chef who, after a public altercation with a food critic, quits his job at a popular Los Angeles restaurant to operate a food truck.
