Cheverny
Cheverny is a commune in the Loir-et-Cher department of central France. It is known for its beautiful Château de Cheverny, a well-preserved example of 17th-century architecture, and for its wines.

Cheverny has been inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by archaeological finds in the area. The village itself was first mentioned in historical records in the 11th century. The Château de Cheverny was built in the 17th century and has remained in the same family for more than six centuries.

The Château de Cheverny is a grand country house and one of the best-preserved châteaux in the Loire Valley.
