Cheyenne County is a county located in the U.S. state of Colorado. As of the 2010 census, the population was 1,836. The county seat is Cheyenne Wells. The county was named after the Cheyenne Native American tribe.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,781 square miles, of which 1,780 square miles is land and 0.9 square miles is water.
