Chock full o'Nuts is a popular brand of coffee and coffeehouse chain based in the United States. The company was founded in 1926 by William Black, who initially sold nuts before expanding into coffee.

William Black founded Chock full o'Nuts in 1926 as a nut shop in New York City. During the Great Depression, Black noticed that coffee was more profitable than nuts and shifted his business focus. The company began selling coffee and sandwiches, eventually evolving into a chain of luncheonettes across New York City.

In 1953, Chock full o'Nuts introduced a line of ground coffee for home use. This product became a staple in many American households and remains popular today.
