Chris Manderino
Chris Manderino is a former American football fullback and entrepreneur. He was born on December 22, 1982, in Anaheim, California. Manderino played college football at the University of California, Berkeley and later pursued a career in the National Football League (NFL) and the Italian Football League (IFL).
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Chris Manderino was born and raised in Anaheim, California. He attended Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, California, where he excelled in both football and academics. After graduating from high school, Manderino enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where he played for the California Golden Bears football team.
College Career[edit | edit source]
During his time at the University of California, Berkeley, Manderino played as a fullback for the California Golden Bears football team from 2001 to 2005. He was known for his blocking skills and versatility on the field. Manderino contributed significantly to the team's success during his tenure, helping them achieve several winning seasons and bowl game appearances.
Professional Football Career[edit | edit source]
After graduating from college, Manderino went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft. However, he signed as a free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006. He spent the 2006 season with the Bengals, primarily contributing on special teams and as a backup fullback.
In 2007, Manderino signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played for one season. Following his stint in the NFL, Manderino continued his football career in Europe, joining the Italian Football League (IFL). He played for the Parma Panthers and helped the team win the Italian Bowl in 2010.
Post-Football Career[edit | edit source]
After retiring from professional football, Chris Manderino transitioned into the business world. He co-founded LYFE Fuel, a health and wellness company that focuses on plant-based nutrition products. Manderino's entrepreneurial efforts have been aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and sustainable living.
