Claudia M. Palena
Claudia M. Palena is a renowned oncologist and immunologist known for her significant contributions to the field of cancer immunotherapy. She is currently serving as the Chief of the Immunotherapy Section at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), USA.

Claudia M. Palena was born and raised in Argentina. She completed her undergraduate studies in biochemistry at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She then pursued her Ph.D. in molecular biology from the same university.

After completing her Ph.D., Palena moved to the United States and joined the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a postdoctoral fellow. She later became the Chief of the Immunotherapy Section at NCI. Her research primarily focuses on the development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies for the treatment of metastatic cancer.
