The foundation's mission is to improve global health, increase opportunity for women and girls, reduce childhood obesity, create economic opportunity and growth, and help communities address the effects of climate change.

History[edit | edit source]

The Clinton Foundation was founded in 2001 following the end of Bill Clinton's presidency. Initially, the foundation focused on addressing issues such as HIV/AIDS in Africa and the Caribbean. Over time, the foundation expanded its scope to include a wide range of global issues.

Programs and Initiatives[edit | edit source]

Funding and Controversies[edit | edit source]

The Clinton Foundation has been the subject of scrutiny and controversy, particularly regarding its funding sources and the potential for conflicts of interest. Critics have raised concerns about donations from foreign governments and corporations, especially during Hillary Clinton's tenure as U.S. Secretary of State.

Impact[edit | edit source]

Despite controversies, the Clinton Foundation has been credited with making significant contributions to global health and development. Its programs have reportedly helped millions of people access affordable healthcare and have supported economic development in impoverished regions.
