Cobalt sulfate is a chemical compound with the formula CoSO4. It is a pink to red crystalline solid that is soluble in water and methanol, and slightly soluble in ethanol. Cobalt sulfate is used in various applications, including electroplating, as a pigment in paints and inks, and as a nutrient in animal feed. It is also utilized in the preparation of other cobalt compounds.
