The Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, also known as the Lotto Park for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium located in Anderlecht, Brussels, Belgium. It is the home stadium of R.S.C. Anderlecht, one of the most successful football clubs in Belgium.

History[edit | edit source]

The stadium was inaugurated on 23 August 1917 and was initially named the Emile Versé Stadium, after the club's first president. In 1983, it was renamed Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in honor of Constant Vanden Stock, who served as the club's president for over 25 years.

Facilities[edit | edit source]

The Constant Vanden Stock Stadium has a seating capacity of 21,500 spectators. It features modern facilities, including VIP lounges, press rooms, and a museum dedicated to R.S.C. Anderlecht's history.

The stadium has undergone several renovations over the years to meet UEFA's standards. The most recent renovation took place in 2013, which included the installation of a new pitch heating system and the expansion of the VIP areas.

Matches and Events[edit | edit source]

The Constant Vanden Stock Stadium has hosted numerous important matches and events throughout its history. It has been a regular venue for R.S.C. Anderlecht's home matches in the Belgian Pro League and European competitions.

The stadium has also hosted international matches, including UEFA Euro 1972 and UEFA Euro 2000 matches. Additionally, it has been used for music concerts and other cultural events.
